    How to use it

    1. Pick a compression level.
    2. Drop your images; the new size is shown under each one.
    3. Download, or get them all as a ZIP.

    Choosing a level

Light compression is hard to tell apart from the original and often halves the file size of camera photos. Balanced is good for websites and email. Strong gives the smallest files, with some visible softening.

WebP files are usually 25 to 35 percent smaller than JPG at the same visual quality and work in all current browsers, but some upload forms still only accept JPG.

    Questions

Can I compress to an exact size?

Yes. Open Settings and enter Max KB, or use a ready-made page like compress JPG to 100 KB.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser with JavaScript, so the image never leaves your device. Once the page has loaded, resizing keeps working even if you go offline.
