Why this resizer works without uploading
Most online resizers send your photo to their server, process it there and send it back. This one does the work inside your browser: the image is decoded, resized and compressed on your own device, then offered as a download. Nothing is sent anywhere, so there is no upload wait and no copy of your passport photo or signature on someone else's computer.
Re-saving also removes hidden metadata such as GPS location and camera details, which is useful before you share a photo publicly.
Questions
How do I resize a photo to a specific KB size?
Open Settings, type the limit in Max KB, and drop your photo. The tool finds the best quality that fits. There are ready-made pages for common limits such as 20 KB, 50 KB and 100 KB.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing happens in your browser using your device's processor. Images never reach a server, which also makes it fast on slow connections.
Can I resize several images at once?
Yes. Select or drop as many images as you like. They all use the same settings, and you can download them together as a ZIP file.
How do I resize without cropping?
Tick "Make square (no cropping)" in Settings, or enter both a width and a height and set Fit to "Fit without cropping". The whole picture is kept and the empty space is filled with white, black, transparency or a blurred copy of the photo.
Can I choose which part of the photo to keep?
Yes. After adding a photo, press Crop on its row, drag the box over the part you want, and apply. The resize then uses only that area.
Can I make a file bigger in KB?
Yes. Enter a Min KB value, or use the increase image size page. The picture stays the same; the file is padded to meet the minimum.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It works in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on Android and iPhone, including iPhone HEIC photos.
