    How to use it

    1. Choose or drop your image.
    2. The tool raises it to just over 100 KB.
    3. Download it and upload it to your form.

How the file reaches 100 KB

The image is saved at maximum JPG quality first. If it is still too small, the tool adds a hidden comment block that every image viewer ignores, so the picture is unchanged.

The minimum is counted as 102,400 bytes, so the file passes whether the website counts a kilobyte as 1000 or 1024 bytes.

    Questions

Is a padded file safe to upload?

Yes. The comment block is part of the JPG standard and contains only empty bytes.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser with JavaScript, so the image never leaves your device. Once the page has loaded, resizing keeps working even if you go offline.
