    How to use it

    1. Pick the preset that matches where the image goes.
    2. Drop your image and check the preview.
    3. Download and upload it.

Getting the Facebook cover photo size right

Facebook shows the cover photo wide on computers and as a taller, narrower crop on phones. Text near the left and right edges disappears on mobile.

This page makes a sharp image at twice the desktop display size. Keep the main subject and any text in the middle third so it shows on both.

    Questions

Why does my cover look blurry?

Covers uploaded at exactly the display size can look soft on high-resolution screens. Twice the size, as here, stays sharp.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser with JavaScript, so the image never leaves your device. Once the page has loaded, resizing keeps working even if you go offline.
