The BKN Sekolah Kedinasan guides also set a minimum: 120 KB for the pas foto, and 100 KB (2024) or 120 KB (2023) for the selfie. The presets aim for 120 to 200 KB, which passes all of them. The 2026 Sekolah Kedinasan guide was not read directly. Always check the latest official instructions before submitting.

    Other rules to know

    The pas foto must have a red background.

    Diplomas (ijazah) are uploaded as PDF up to 800 KB and transcripts as PDF up to 500 KB for CPNS; each agency can add its own documents.

    Sekolah Kedinasan applicants can apply to only one school.

    Questions

    Why does SSCASN say my pas foto is too small?

    The Sekolah Kedinasan form has a minimum of 120 KB as well as the 200 KB maximum, and a heavily compressed phone photo can fall under it. The pas foto preset keeps the file between 120 and 200 KB.

    Can I use a blue background?

    No. Both the CPNS and Sekolah Kedinasan instructions ask for a red background. Change the background before resizing; the resizer does not recolour it.

    My file comes out smaller than the minimum. What happens?

    Where there is a minimum, the tool first saves at top quality and then adds padding data that image viewers ignore, so the picture is unchanged and the file meets the minimum.

    Is my photo uploaded to a server?

    No. Everything runs in your browser, so your photo and signature stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share a file by link. That matters for ID documents. If your device can't handle an image, the tool can shrink it on our server instead, but only if you agree, and it is deleted right away.
