PRC LERIS licensure exam: what to upload
ID photo upload: 2 × 2 in, Not over 300 × 300 px (2018 guide), Up to 2 MB (2018 guide), JPG, Plain white background. Taken no more than 6 months before uploading; decent attire with a collar.
Other rules to know
The LERIS upload screen lets you zoom and position the photo inside a frame after uploading.
An unsuitable photo means you are asked to upload a new one, which delays the application.
Questions
Does the PRC photo need a name tag?
The PRC online-services FAQ does not ask for one; it asks for a 2 × 2 photo on plain white, a collared top, taken within 6 months. Follow the LERIS photo requirements shown on the upload screen if they differ.
My file comes out smaller than the minimum. What happens?
Where there is a minimum, the tool first saves at top quality and then adds padding data that image viewers ignore, so the picture is unchanged and the file meets the minimum.
How accurate are these requirements?
No official figure was available; sources disagree. The presets use values that satisfy every version we found. Rules can change with each new notice, so compare with the official instructions linked on this page.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your photo and signature stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share a file by link. That matters for ID documents. If your device can't handle an image, the tool can shrink it on our server instead, but only if you agree, and it is deleted right away.
